- calculate the impedance transformation on lines
- typical line structures
- characterise and know examples for TEM-lines
- know the charcteristics of wave guides
- analyse HF circuits
- calculate circuits using S, T- or ABCD-parameter
- identify circuit behaviour
- the smith chart
- explain the smith chart
- analyse- and synthesize circuits using the smith chart
- the signal flow graph
- signal propagation represented with the signal flow graph
- characterise transfersystems using the signal flow graph
- HF measurement techniques
- explain power measurement techniques
- know the meaning of network analysis
- characterise different network analyzer systems
- describe the task and function of a spectrum analyzer
