Objectives

  • apply photographic and illuminating measurement techniques
  • measure the sensitometric characteristics of a DSC
  • analyse the raw image data of dark images and assess the image quality of different capuring modes for night scenes
  • compare and assess different methods for the contrast adaptation

Operational Competences
  • assess raw image data concerning noise and signal quality
  • recognize artefacts of the electonics and of the image processing and assess image quality individually
  • optimize the image quality of a digital camera
  • document the results
